These days, we don’t blindly believe stories and reports from traditional media. Even on social media, it can be difficult to determine what is true. Trust in an institution such as the church has diminished due to concerns about transparency and integrity, among other things.

In these times, we crave authenticity and sincerity. Real, personal stories have the power to create connections and make room for in-depth conversations. We now value more recommendations and experiences from people we know and can identify with.
